This one-day yoga retreat involves a herb walk and a remedy workshop

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
Albert Einstein said that and if you’d like to take some life advice from the most influential physicist of the 20th century, this is the weekend to do it.
A Yoga & Herbs Day Retreat will take place this Saturday, June 22nd at Carewswood Garden Centre and Cafe in Castlemartyr.
Designed to treat participants to some time out in nature, the schedule promises to nourishing your mind, body and soul.
The rejuvenating fun begins with an energising yoga session with Emer Harrington, set in a marquee on the garden centre grounds.
With everyone fully stretched and de-stressed, Sarah Fox will lead a herb walk and herbal workshop focused on seasonal plants and how to identify them. This will include a workshop on simple herbal remedies to make and use for a variety of common ailments.
After another restorative yoga and blissful yoga nidra with Emer, everyone will enjoy a fresh, seasonal lunch, herbal teas and treats.
Tickets for the full day are €80 per person (email emerhyoga@gmail.com to book) and it looks like an excellent stress buster, as well as an informative afternoon. After all, who are we to argue with Albert Einstein?
