This special bike repair class is geared towards women and non-binary folk

It’s good to be handy with a bike wrench.
And now you can ride full throttle into a world of bicycle mastery as Cork Community Bikes is rolling out a bespoke bike maintenance course crafted exclusively for women and non-binary folk.
The class will unfold across two packed sessions, the next of which is on Sunday, November 26th.
Taking place at Rebel Reads at the Marina Commercial Park, the course is all about empowering attendees with the skills to understand their bikes inside out. From brakes to punctures, gears to wheels and bearings — it’s all covered.

There is also a hands-on chance to tinker, adjust, and fix with the guidance of seasoned mechanics and while there is no need to bring either tools or bikes, if you want to bring your own trusty steed, you’re more than welcome.
Tickets are €80 and you can sign up here. Mastering these skills could translate to some serious savings on future repairs.
