Morning People, This One’s For You: Join a free 7am cycle and sauna this weekend

Honestly, there are worse ways to start your day.
If you’ve been saying you’ll become a morning person and a bike person, this might be your moment.
As part of Cork Bike Week, there’s an early morning cycle with a twist happening this Saturday, May 9th—and yes, it involves a sauna before most people have had their first coffee.
Kicking off at 7am from Páirc Uí Chaoimh, the group will head out along the greenway towards Passage West, taking in a handy, mostly traffic-free spin to get the day started.
The real reward? A 30-minute sauna session at Suaimhneas Saunas to warm up (or sweat it out) before hopping back on the bike and cruising back into the city. The route is largely greenway, with just a short 1km stretch between Blackrock Village and Blackrock Castle—so it’s very doable even if you’re not Tour de France-ready.
No bike? No panic. There’ll be a few e-bikes available on the day (you’ll just need ID and a deposit), making it that bit easier to roll out of bed and get moving.
It all wraps up around 9am, meaning you have all day Saturday to feel smug, refreshed, and slightly superior to everyone else. Email info@wildatlanticsports.com to take part.
