See Shandon like never before with these unique artist-led workshops

Is this the summer you enter your creative era?
A new series of artist-led workshops is inviting people to explore one of Cork’s most iconic landmarks throughout July.
Hosted in St Anne’s Church, Shandon Tower and Bells, the five-part summer series will explore the architecture, bells, stained glass and famous clock tower of the historic church — offering a completely different way to experience a place that has been part of Cork’s northside for more than 300 years.
Led by artist Aoife Claffey, each workshop will focus on a different creative style, from printmaking and painting to drawing and creating artist books.

The series kicks off on Wednesday, July 1st, with a Drypoint and Monoprint workshop, followed by Watercolour in Shandon, a Painting Workshop, Drawing Shandon and an Artist Book Workshop across the month.
The idea is simple but lovely: slow down, notice the details and create something inspired by the world around you.
Each 6pm workshop costs €50 per person, with all proceeds going towards the conservation of St Anne’s.
