South American pop-up kitchen La Latina is headed for Kinsale in July

Chilean chef Fran Jara, who runs a popular stall in the Douglas Farmer’s Market every Saturday, is bringing her delicious empanadas to the seaside next month.
Fran’s pop-up kitchen La Latina will be taking over Saint Francis Provisions on Short Quay, Kinsale on Sunday, July 19th.
“Thank you so much Barbara and the St Francis Provisions team, for inviting us to serve our Latin American-inspired bites on the 19th of July (Sunday).” Fran said in a post on Instagram.

“Expect vibrant flavours, a coastal breeze vibe, zingy and refreshing dishes and also our humble and well-known empanadas! We can’t wait for this!”
The menu will be announced soon (keep an eye on the La Latina social for updates), but we hear rumours of Castletownbere prawns Causa Acevichada and brioche hot dogs with Gubbeen Frankfurters, Chilean-style.
The fun will begin at 1pm on the day, continuing until 7pm or until everything is sold out.
