An English Market business has opened a dedicated Goods for Gaza section

It’s another small way to help.
Late last month, the wonderful team behind vegan café and grocery shop My Goodness announced it would donate half of October’s profits to a crisis charity working in Gaza and has so far donated €1,000 to Palestine Red Crescent.
But frustrated at the pace of the fundraising -they are a living wage, zero waste company who are trying to make vegan food affordable and thus don’t make an enormous profit- the English Market vendors have decided to take a different tack by dedicating a section of their shop to Goods For Gaza, with all proceeds going directly to the enclave.
“If you make anything (that happens to be vegan), you can sell it in our shop, and all proceeds will go directly to Gaza,” they announced hoping to inspire people to get more active and empowered in their solidarity.
“Let this be a way to feel more active and empowered in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Do you make zines, stickers, candles, soap, or have you ever wanted to try? Here’s your chance to share your favourite crafts and arts and delicious bites with the rest of Cork for a good cause.”
