Feeling a bit disconnected?
Studies show that the vibrations created by the ancient practice of chanting could help you relax and focus your attention on the important stuff… and now there’s a thoroughly modern way to do it.
On Friday, September 11th, you can join a Kirtan & Cake session at Alchemy School of Yoga on the Model Farm Road.
Kirtan is a devotional mantra and chanting practice that has been proven to boost brain function and memory while decreasing mood swings. Once the 90-minute session is over, everyone enjoys a slice of cake – sounds like the perfect evening.
No need to be shy if you’re a beginner either.
“Just come and sit/lie there and absorb the vibes,” says Jeanie Jyanti of Alchemy School of Yoga. “No singing required. I can promise you will love everyone a little bit more after! Such a heart-opening practice.”
