This is the date for Cork’s Long Table dinner this year

It’s one of the coolest events of the summer.
For one night only, Cork City Council stop traffic on the South Mall, so the entire street can be transformed into a huge al fresco dining experience.
Picture crisp white table cloths, vases filled with wildflowers, flowing wine… all in the middle of an eerily peaceful road.
It’s no wonder the Cork Midsummer Festival event is one of the hottest tickets in town.
Looks like @joleencronin had the best view?

Last year, more than 40 staff from 12 of Cork’s finest restaurants served more than 400 hungry diners and this year, plans are afoot to make the magic happen once again.
The date is June 24th, 2018 and tickets will be available soon – watch this space for updates.
