It’s the craft beer enthusiast’s dream; opening the fridge to unveil bottle after bottle of your very own unique brew.

If you’ve always fancied giving home brewing a bash, the experts will show you how to get started in Cork this weekend.

A basic beginners course in Home Brewing takes place on Saturday, March 24th at the Franciscan Well Brewery & Brewpub on the North Mall.

Participants will learn about the dos and don’ts of brewing at home and where to buy all the right equipment to begin your home brewing adventure.

A Home Brew Club will be created on the day so that participants can become part of a network of new brewers and share their tips and experiences.

Online support will also be available for participants to help them with questions on everything from fermentation to bottling during their first brew.
