It takes a mighty, year-long effort from Cork’s collaborative foodie community to put together.
After taking a break this summer to regroup, the team behind Cork’s famous Long Table Dinner have announced the date and theme for next year’s event.
The next Long Table Dinner will take place on the South Mall on the longest day of the year, Sunday, June 21st, 2020.
The theme, fittingly, will be ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
While there has been no announcements on ticket sales yet, they are likely to be released in spring of 2020.
The staff of some of Cork’s best restaurants, from Ali’s Kitchen and Electric, to Isaac’s, Jacobs on The Mall, Nash 19 and The Farmgate Café, will once again work together to serve up a magical meal using Cork’s world-class seasonal produce.
At least ten of the city’s top eateries will be involved.
The news was revealed during this summer’s sell-out Walk the Long Table food tour, where diners enjoyed a mammoth eight courses of mouth-watering midsummer plates and paired drinks en route, as part of a four-hour culinary experience that introduced food lovers to the talented chefs and restaurateurs who collaborate on Cork’s famed Long Table Dinner.
