This one-day Cork festival will transport you straight to Argentina

Love Argentinian food, music and culture
If your idea of a great day out involves sizzling steak, live music and dancing, this one’s worth adding to the calendar.
An Argentina Day Independence Celebration is coming to Cork, bringing an afternoon and evening of authentic food, culture and entertainment to Kino Events House on Washington Street. The event takes place on Sunday, July 5th, from 2pm until 10pm.
Organised by La Clave Group, the festival promises to transport visitors straight to South America with a celebration of everything Argentina is famous for.
Expect traditional Argentinian cuisine, live music, dancing and a lively atmosphere as the local Argentinian community shares its culture with Cork. It’s a family-friendly event too, with under-18s welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
While the celebration marks Argentina’s Independence Day — commemorating the country’s declaration of independence in 1816 — you certainly don’t need to be Argentinian to enjoy it.
Sounds like a brilliant way to spend a Sunday.
With Cork’s international food scene continuing to grow, events like this are a reminder that you don’t need to book a long-haul flight to experience another culture — sometimes all it takes is a stroll into the city centre.
Tickets are available now via Eventbrite.
