There’s a boat party happening in Cork Harbour – here’s what you need to know

This is shaping up to be some major craic.
The second It Takes A Village festival returns to Trabolgan Holiday Village for three days in May and this year, there’s Cork Harbour Boat Party on the itinerary.
Flex your sea legs because the Ocean Escapes boat will depart from Aghada, East Cork at around noon on Sunday, May 12th and you’re going to want to be on it.
Guests will be whisked off on a cruise around Cork harbour for over two hours with special guests DJs playing the hits as everyone kicks back and enjoys the views.
Tickets for this bash will be sold separately to the main festival tickets. Boat party passes will go on sale February 8th, 2019 with more details to be announced closer to the event on the It Takes A Village website.
Organisers have announced the first faces on the ITAV bill, which includes the likes of Gilles Peterson, Saint Sister, Lisa O’Neill, Pillow Queens, Sister Nancy and AE MAK.
Dublin rapper and renowned Soft Boy Kojaque; the deadly electro-indie-house-pop duo Le Boom, singer-songwriter David Kitt; cassette connoisseur Awesome Tapes from Africa aka Brian Shimkovitz; experimental folkster Junior Brother and singer-songwriter SON aka Susan O’Neill are also confirmed for the festival, which runs from Friday, May 10th to Sunday, May 12th, 2019.
