It’s shaping up to be a glorious weekend.

Another Love Story just announced the final lineup for the latest edition of their roaming mini festival series, Love Is A Stranger at Ballyvolane House on Saturday, August 16th.

Joining an already stellar lineup that includes Elaine Howley, Niamh Regan, Optimo [Espacio], and Shane Johnson, revellers can now enjoy a Welcome Event on Friday, August 15th, featuring sets from Shane Johnson (Fish Go Deep) and Caoilian Sherlock and Tessa Rose Johnson.

This special evening also includes Breaking Bread, a Palestinian-themed fundraising feast by Wildfolk.ie, with half of all proceeds supporting Gaza Go Bragh, Irish Artists for Palestine, and Nour Kitchen for Gaza.

The excitement continues on Saturday with a host of new artists, including Cack Jollins, Cee M Cee, Eamonn End Up, Gilbert Steele, James Abure, Patfeelgood, and Jim Plug’d.

Don’t miss The ALS Shift Shack Soundsystem featuring Efa O’Neill, Heaps Keen, Nally, Neil Flynn, and That Good Good. The Baltimore Fiddle Fair is also presenting performances by Bog Jazz Duo and Fuinamana.

Beyond the music, you can catch The Point of Everything Podcast, relax at the Bosca Beatha Sauna, and enjoy yoga sessions throughout the festival.

“One of the great thrills of the Love Is A Stranger series is having a platform to do a deep dive into the local music scenes in the new locations we find ourselves – and Cork, with its rich and storied history as a hub of music creation and expression – has provided incredibly rich pickings.” said Festival curator Emmet Condon.

“We are so delighted to welcome a treasure trove of artists from Cork and further afield to add to and complete our lineup for Love Is A Stranger : Ballyvolane House 2025.”
