Soothe your soul with a vegan night time yoga party

This will send you floating serenely into the weekend.
An evening of ‘yoga, spiritual vocals, funky house beats, delicious vegan food and raw treats’ is happening in St Peter’s, North Main Street on Friday, March 1st, 2019.
A soulful escape designed to lift spirits and warm hearts, this intimate event will bring some of Cork’s greatest souls together including the “Son of Soul”, singer – Velvin Lamont, Hazel Buckley from the Yoga Tree, DJ Gwada Mike on the decks and Jayne Aherne from the Wicked Wholesome on the stove.
Yogis will leave the day’s stresses at the door and enjoy re-connecting with their inner selves through a series of heated yoga practices to awaken the chakras.
The focus will be on an evolutionary style of yoga called Prana Flow yoga, which, according to organisers, is both liberating and rhythmic.
Later, the group will hit the spiritual dance floor to shake and groove to tunes from DJ Mike and vibey vocals from Lamont. Other guests on the night include Dr. Anu, an Ayurvedic doctor who will offer complimentary Indian henna tattoos.
The event is open to all levels of yoga experience from beginners to advanced, although some experience is beneficial. Tickets (€55) are available by emailing info@theyogatree.ie.
