Hit this coffee shop for good cake (and a rich blend of after-work events)

Washington Street’s newest cafe has launched a series of evening events.
Pink Moon opened at the end of last year, dishing up a menu of hearty stews and sandwiches, healthy desserts, coffee and wine.
Now the venue is ready to begin a promised schedule of interesting after hours happenings, which will entice more after work drop-ins for a raw caramel and pistachio slice, a glass of wine or a big cup of StoneValley Roasters Coffee.
Here are three evening events that might tickle your fancy:
OPEN MIC
Kicking off on February 28th, every Thursday will be Open Mic Night at Pink Moon. The acoustic session (6pm-9pm) will invite local musicians to sing, play, perform or recite for a glass of wine and dessert (they pass the hat at the end).
ART
This Friday, February 22nd, artist Diarmuid O’Sullivan will be launching his exhibition of original disco ball paintings and limited edition prints ‘Funky Fresh’. Drop by for wine and nibbles from 6pm to 9pm.
VINTAGE & PROSECCO
If browsing and bubbles sound like two of your favourite things, there’s a Vintage & Prosecco night happening at Pink Moon on Wednesday, March 6th. With some new vendors coming on board, Pink Moon hope to continue this event on the first Wednesday of each month.
