A luxury autumn reset is coming to Hayfield Manor (the ultimate treat-yourself day)

By Yay Cork September 26, 2026September 25, 2026

Brought to you by The Autumn Reset.

If you’ve been promising yourself a little self-care lately, this could be just the excuse you need.

A luxurious wellness day is taking place at the five-star Hayfield Manor on Saturday, October 10th, offering the chance to slow down, switch off and spend the day being thoroughly spoiled in one of Cork’s most beautiful hotels.

Called The Autumn Reset, the experience is designed as a full-day escape from the stresses of everyday life, with a carefully curated programme of gentle movement, mindful creativity, delicious food and deep relaxation from 10am to 4.30pm.

“There’s a time in October when everything starts letting go. The leaves, the seed pods, the last of the summer light. The Autumn Reset is a day built around that idea, a chance to put down whatever you’ve been carrying and move into the darker months feeling lighter,” say hosts, Aisling of Ammi Sound Therapy and Emma of Luna Cottage Pilates.

One of the highlights has to be a private two-course gourmet lunch served in Hayfield Manor’s elegant Orchid Room, overlooking the hotel’s stunning walled gardens, making the day feel more like a luxury retreat than a typical wellness class.

You’ll arrive for a light breakfast prepared by the Hayfield Manor kitchen, with time to settle in and meet the group before anything begins.

Emma then leads a session of holistic stretch Pilates and guided meditation. It’s accessible, unhurried and suitable for all levels, focused on releasing tension rather than pushing yourself.

Next is the wreath workshop. You’ll build your own asymmetrical dried autumn wreath from leaves, grasses and seed pods foraged locally and dried in Ammi’s chemical-free micro flower farm. The asymmetry is deliberate, taking its cue from the season itself and the way nature lets things fall away. You’ll take your wreath home with you.

No previous Pilates or floristry experience is needed, with organisers encouraging guests to simply arrive, relax and enjoy the slower pace.

The day closes with a sound bath led by Aisling, using a set of Crystal Tones Alchemy singing bowls, Grotta Sonora gongs and chimes. You’ll lie down, covered and comfortable, and let the sound do the work. It’s a deep rest to help you release and unwind going into the autumn season.

You’ll leave with a carefully curated gift bag, chosen to help you carry the calm home.

“There are very few opportunities to step away from everyday life without feeling like you have to rush onto the next thing,” say the organisers.

“This day has been thoughtfully created to give you exactly that.”

Sounds perfect. How do I book?

Places are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate, with early bird tickets priced at €165 and standard admission at €185. Guests can also secure their place with a deposit and pay the balance closer to the event. Tickets are available here.
