Sad news as one of Cork’s sunniest rooftop bars announces it’s closing down
It was a lovely spot for a sunshine pint.
But if you were planning on heading to Queen of Rebels on South Main Street for a drink or two this weekend, you’ll find the door locked.
The quirky craft beer and cocktail bar, which was opened by the Press Up group in 2020, has announced it is closing with immediate effect, with management confirming that tricky trading conditions made it impossible to carry on.
“Queen of Rebels doors have officially shut,” they announced on social media.
“It is with heavy hearts that we confirm the closure of Queen of Rebels located on 5 South Main Street, Cork, which has now permanently ceased trading.
