Cork’s newest cocktail bar opens this week with stunning views of Kinsale Harbour

By Yay Cork June 22, 2026

Here’s a fine excuse to head out for cocktails this week.

After generating plenty of buzz during its soft launch, All Apologies is ready for its official debut in Kinsale this Thursday, June 25th.

The hotly anticipated new spot from husband-and-wife duo Charlie and Bren O’Sullivan will open its doors on Pier Road, where guests can sip inventive cocktails, tuck into delicious food and soak up some of the best waterfront views in town.

Overlooking the marina, the venue boasts sweeping, uninterrupted views across the bay — the perfect backdrop for long summer evenings.

The bar will showcase great wines and a seasonal cocktail menu built around local ingredients and Irish-made spirits. Everything from syrups and tinctures to foams and shrubs will be made in-house, delivering cleaner, more vibrant drinks—and far fewer next-day regrets. Plans are also in place to add a Sunday brunch service starting in July.

“We’re excited to open the doors to all our neighbours and friends and the community,” Bren said in a video the pair shared on Instagram to announce the news.

“We’re like a proper old school neighbourhood bar, we’re going to go for walk-ins.”

Here’s a peek inside:

After co-managing The Black Pig Wine Bar in Kinsale—where they became a familiar part of the local community after moving to Cork from New York in 2021—Charlie and Bren are now stepping out to open a place of their own just around the corner from their first home in town.

“For us, the most important part of All Apologies is for it to be spontaneous, welcoming and relaxed, like you’re walking into our home,” Bren told Yay Cork.

“Like in any good house party, as the night progresses and the music builds: if the mood is right, we’ll push back the tables to make some space for you to let your hair down and cut loose on our makeshift dance floor! The whole idea is that you leave your apologies at the door and come, relax and maybe even misbehave a little!” she added.

Booking for groups of six or more can be made on their website.
