While many people will be making the most of the sunshine at beaches, rivers and lakes, Met Éireann has warned that the hot weather could bring increased water safety risks. Heat stress and uncomfortable sleeping conditions are also listed among the potential impacts.
There is also a chance of thunderstorms developing later in the week, particularly on Thursday, which could bring a dramatic end to some of the hottest conditions.
The advisory remains in place until 9am on Friday, June 26th.
In other words: enjoy it while it lasts.
