The Woodland Retreat, a brand-new cabin at Inishbeg Estate in Baltimore, West Cork, has opened its doors, offering guests a cosy hideaway tucked away among the trees.
Don’t panic if you’re not exactly the outdoors type; however, the double bedroom cabin comes complete with an ensuite, a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy sitting and dining area, and a separate bathroom — making it ideal for both short breaks and longer stays.

But the real showstopper has to be the outdoor bathing area, where guests can relax in the fresh air while surrounded by the tranquillity of the estate. The cabin also has its own private garden, giving visitors their own little slice of calm, while still being just steps away from the estate’s facilities.
Located just 10 metres from the famous three-acre walled garden, Pool House swimming pool and steam room, guests can enjoy the perfect mix of privacy and relaxation.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of the island, The Woodland Retreat offers a peaceful Cork escape without having to travel too far from home. Small children are welcome (if your little ones are older than four, you can book a roomier house on the estate) and prices start from €125 per night for a minimum of two nights.
