Proceeds from this yoga and sauna session will help Turkey-Syria earthquake victims

The death toll has surpassed 44,000 people.
As search and rescue teams continue to pick through the disaster zones in Turkey and Syria more than 13 days after a deadly earthquake reduced entire cities to rubble, we are all on the lookout for ways to help in some small way.
This Sunday, February 25th, you can skip your usual exercise class and join a dawn fundraising event taking place at 7.30am on Garrettstown Beach.
The morning will begin with a 30-minute Standing Flow yoga class, followed by a dip in the sea and a Wilder Cork sauna session to warm up afterwards.

“We’ve all heard about the devastating impact that has been made as a result of the earthquake so for this event, we will take a moment to slow down, watch the sun rise and hold compassion in our hearts as we come together to support the people of Syria and Turkey.” said Ciara on Instagram.
The event will be donation-based and proceeds will be donated to the UNICEF Earthquake appeal. Booking is essential via the link here and donations can also be brought on the day.
“Really looking forward to this special practice where we will be immersed amongst the elements, breathing in the sea air while gathering with intent to support the people of Turkey and Syria to raise vital funds,” Ciara added.
