One of Cork’s best beer gardens finally reopens today at 4pm (but you must book ahead)

It’s been a while.
But after months in lockdown, Fionnbarra Bar on Douglas Street is opening up its doors once again this evening, with bookings now being taken for tables inside and outdoors from 4pm daily.
Posting the news on social media, the Fionbarra team said they were “very excited to be opening” again at No. 73 for the first time since March and reminded customers that all Government guidelines on Covid-19 hygiene and social distancing would be adhered to.
From today, Wednesday, July 8th, you can book a table (a maximum of six guests per table) for food and drinks.

While it’s hardly splitting the stones outside at the moment, the good news is that the Fionnbarra beer garden is largely covered so you can enjoy the warm evening and a few alfresco pints without getting drenched.
