The Mutton Lane reopens on Thursday with pints (and snacks) from noon

It’ll be lovely to see the lights on down Mutton Lane.
One of the city’s best-loved pubs reopens for the first time since March this Thursday, August 27th, with pints available alongside a selection of ‘substantial meals’.
Tasty charcuterie boards, cheese boards and vegan boards will be the order of the day, so you can take a socially distanced candle-lit table and kick back for an hour or two just like old times.
The Mutton Lane team announced their return on Facebook, complete with a tongue-in-cheek video explaining their new hygiene and sanitisation set up:
The bar is the latest of Cork publican Benny McCabe’s venues to reopen following months of uncertainty and confusion for pub owners.
Another of McCabe’s historic pubs, The Oval, reopened last week with a new menu of bar snacks and a greeter to seat walk-in customers.
