The lovely, leafy Crawford Garden Café reopens tomorrow

Another alfresco coffee spot is back in business on Friday.
The Crawford Garden Café, nestled in the front garden of the Crawford Art Gallery on Emmet Place, reopens on July 10th at 11am, serving Turkish flatbreads, freshly baked cakes and sweet treats, Barry’s Tea and locally roasted Golden Bean coffee.
With everything served in the shade of a tree beneath the 296-year-old building, it’s the perfect spot for an alfresco meet-up, provided the weather cooperates.
If you’ve been missing your French toast and eggy brioche, indoors, The Crawford Gallery Café will reopen from July 17th, back with a full breakfast and lunch menu from Monday-Saturday, 11am to 4pm.
Closed since March in accordance with Government guidelines, the Crawford team is excited to get back behind the counter: “We’ll have your garden favourites and a few new delicious bits for you to enjoy. There’s lots of space so you’ll feel safe and happy to be back in our beautiful city garden!” said a spokesperson.
For the first time, the café will also be starting a click and collect service from mid-July offering a meal box menu designed to heat up at home as well as a ready-to-eat takeaway menu.
