Met Éireann has issued TWO Status Yellow weather warnings for Cork

Wind and rain: lovely.
If you were planning on being outdoors later this evening, now might be a good time to change your plans.
Met Éireann has issued two Status Yellow weather warnings for Cork.
The wind warning covers Cork, Wexford, Kerry and Waterford, with forecasters predicting that southeasterly winds and gusts of up to 100 km/h.
It’s valid from today, Wednesday 4pm until Thursday, December 13th at 2pm.
The Status Yellow Rainfall warning also affects Cork, Kerry and Waterford.
Met Éireann reports: “Heavy rain will lead to accumulations between 25mm and 50mm. Spot flooding possible. There is the potential for higher values in mountainous areas.”
That alert is valid from today at 6pm until Thursday, December 13th at 6pm.
Time to get stuck into the Roses and a Christmas movie, I guess.
