Here’s how the weather is looking for the rest of the week in Cork

Spoiler alert: it’s going to rain.
Met Éireann is forecasting a windy, soggy week ahead for Cork, with scattered showers expected every day until Sunday and beyond.
The showers will give way to more persistent rain on Thursday night, becoming heavy in some areas. Temperatures will hover between 12 to 16 degrees by day, dropping to between six and 10 degrees by night.
While considerable uncertainty remains for the further outlook, early indications are that Sunday will turn very wet and dull once more.

The rest of today, Tuesday, will be “cloudy and damp with outbreaks of rain through much of the day” and highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees.
“Outbreaks of rain will continue tonight, clearing northeastwards by morning with a mix of clear spells and scattered showers following.” said a forecaster.
“It will turn windy with strengthening southerly winds increasing fresh to strong and later veering westerly. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees.”
