This Cork shop sells boob-shaped Christmas tree decorations

Long before the boob became something to gawk at in a trashy tabloid, it was the ultimate symbol of femininity.
Every Christmas, one Cork shop owner aims to celebrate the breast in all its glory, while supporting breastfeeding mums, with a boob-a-licious decoration you can hang on your very own Christmas tree.
Designed by the Danish illustrator Mie Frey, the unique range of printed baubles (boobles?) are stocked online by children’s clothing store Salingers Little in the Winthrop Arcade. Beautifully drawn, they depict six different shapes, from pert to purposeful, in a range of skin tones.
The store says: “The dual standard of Boobs being used to sell products on billboards yet shunned when used to feed babies in public is what inspired Mie Frey to create six celebrations of the Boob! So now you can hang Boobs everywhere, and anywhere.”
We couldn’t agree more. Plus, it’s nice to have a little something to raise an eyebrow when your Christmas visitors arrive.
You can buy Mie Frey’s Boob decorations €5 each from Salingers Little.
