If you’ve been looking for a way to incorporate art into your busy daily grind, The Glucksman have come up with just the thing.

Every Wednesday until June 12th, artist Ciara Rodgers will be leading a class of beginners and experienced artists through a relaxed drawing class at the arts hub in UCC.

The idea is to give participants the space to build their own drawing style through sketching architecture, while teaching them drawing techniques and methods to perfect in their own time.

Interestingly, drawing and sketching has been shown to help reduce stress and anxiety, so carving out an hour to kick back and let your imagination run free midweek could actually have some very real benefits beyond learning a new skill.
