Learn how to make Ballymaloe’s best breads at this half-day workshop

Attention, bread addicts.
Ever wondered how Ballymaloe turns out those irresistible loaves everyone raves about?
An upcoming relaxed, half-day workshop lets you step behind the scenes and learn how to bake some of their best-loved breads yourself—no pressure, just good ingredients, great tips, and plenty of hands-on time.
On Friday, April 10th, Darina Allen herself will take some of her favourite breads and show you how to make them.
This course (2pm to 5.30pm) will include tips and tricks on how to get the best out of any oven, how to make sure you always get a nice crust and how to make sure you have a delicious loaf of homemade bread when your family get up for school in the morning.
The comprehensive demonstration session will show how dishes are prepared from scratch, with overhead mirror and two monitors showing close-up handiwork.
“We will share a wealth of knowledge and expert tips and techniques. Students can ask questions and have the opportunity to taste the dishes prepared at the end of the sessions.” say the organisers.
Book your spot here or join the wait list if it’s booked out – €145 per person.
