It’s about to get hot ’round here this summer.
Cork is about to turn up the heat in June with the arrival of the very first Irish Chilli Festival at the Marina Market.
Expect fiery flavours, bold brews, and enough chilli-fuelled fun to make your taste buds tingle—this is one hot new date for your summer diary on June 27th and 28th, 2026.
“This brand-new, free, family-friendly event will bring Ireland’s first dedicated chilli festival to life, celebrating all things spicy over a full weekend of flavour and fun.” the organisers told us.
“Visitors can explore a diverse marketplace featuring international hot sauces from across Europe and beyond, fresh chillis and plants, and sample products from specialty vendors. The festival caters to all dietary preferences with BBQ, food trucks, and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options available throughout the weekend.”
