This Easter Egg Hunt is only a fiver and includes LEGO stations and face painting

Keeping the smallies entertained during the Easter holidays usually costs a small fortune.
But if you’re looking for maximum “parent of the year” points without the bank-breaking price tag, the Old Cork Waterworks Experience is coming through with the goods.
On Good Friday (April 3rd), they’re hosting their legendary Easter Egg Challenge, and it’s easily the best value day out in the city.
This isn’t just a quick “find an egg in the garden” situation. The Old Cork Waterworks and the Bishopstown & District Lions Club have gone all out. We’re talking:
- A Massive Treasure Hunt: Kids have to solve clues to find a secret “egg depot.
- The Entertainment: Magic shows, LEGO building stations, face painting, and “make and do” crafts to keep them busy all afternoon.
- The Big Man Himself: The Easter Bunny is making an appearance (with friends!) to hand out eggs to everyone who completes the challenge.
The best part? It’s just €5 a ticket. Even better, the whole thing supports local Primary Schools in the area. So, you’re getting a day of peace and quiet while the kids hunt for sugar, all while doing a bit of good for the community. Win-win.
Head for the Old Cork Waterworks Experience on the Lee Road on Friday, April 3rd from 10am to 4pm and book ahead here.
