Learn how to make a shoebox dollhouse at this cute adults-only class

Crafting is an excellent stress reliever.
Working away on something that requires concentration and gentle mindfulness has been shown to reduce anxiety and leave people feeling happier… and what could be a happier project than a doll’s house?
A free Dollshouse in a Shoebox workshop for adults will take place at Nano Nagle Place on Friday, August 23rd 2019, from 2pm -3.30pm.
Two of the most amazing doll’s houses in the world were made by Irish craftspeople, but this project will be a little more beginner-friendly.
The afternoon starts with a tour telling the story of Nano and 18th Century Cork. The group will then get comfy in the Nano Nagle art room to make and decorate an 18th Century dolls house (each team makes one room) using shoeboxes and crafty materials to create each tiny piece.
All art materials will be provided on the day and it’s free to go along, provided you register here.
