It’s been an exciting week for live music.

With seven city park shows and a series of Sunday open-air gigs announced for Skibbereen in the past 24 hours, news of a new festival on the grounds of Ballinacurra House in Kinsale is the icing on the cake.

Coughlan’s Live Promotions have revealed plans to present ‘The Great Beyond’, a new two-day festival with live music and comedy in the stunning surrounds of the Georgian manor on Saturday, September 11th and Sunday, September 12th, 2021.

Here’s the line-up:

Saturday:
The Frank & Walters | Lisa Hannigan | Wallis Bird | Bernard Casey | The Scratch | Rowan | Ultan Conlon | Robert John Ardiff | Les Salamandas | Cork City Samba Band

Sunday:
