Met Éireann just issued a Status Yellow Thunder warning for the entire country

You might wake up to a rumble of thunder in the morning.
Met Éireann just issued a Status Yellow – Thunderstorm warning for Ireland, kicking in at 6am on Thursday and valid until 7pm on Thursday evening.
According to forecasters, we can expect temperatures of aroud 19C alongside “thundery spells of rain with the risk of lightning and local hail. Localised flooding and hazardous driving conditions.”
In the meantime, today will bring more scattered showers and hazy sunny spells across Munster, with highest temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees.
“Tonight will be cloudy with blustery outbreaks of rain developing in the west early in the night, extending across the province overnight. The rain will turn more persistent and heavy later in the night and there will be a risk of lightning and spot flooding.
“Mild and humid with lowest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees, in a freshening southeast wind, strongest along the coast.”
