This cosy loft is home to West Cork’s newest live music and art space

The views are breathtaking.
KIN at Arundel’s by the Pier is the newest venue for music and art in West Cork, located in the stunning Ahakista on the Sheep’s Head Peninsula.
With an idyllic seaside location, the family-run pub will host a wide range of regional and international musicians and artists who will perform in the gorgeous upstairs loft before stunning views of Dunmanus Bay.
You might even run into local Graham Norton, who has a home in the area.
“The word ‘KIN’ was chosen to represent connection and togetherness; friends, family, and kindred spirits being brought together through a shared love of music and the arts,” said the venue owners on Facebook.
Each month, a local guest musician will host the singer-songwriter showcase. The venue hopes to bring attention to the diversity of talent present in West Cork’s musical community.
The venue’s second songwriter showcase takes place on Thursday, February 9th with performances from Marlene Enright, Aimi Pinder, Rosi Lalor, Kenny Dread and Corinna Swara.
On February 23rd, KIN will debut its live performance series, featuring Irish indie-folk singer-songwriter Eva Coyle playing her debut album Down to the Shore for all to enjoy.
