While fans argue about whether Sheeran will stay in the country confines of Castlemartyr, like Bruce Springsteen’s crew, or plump for five-star luxury at Hayfield Manor, a la Elton John, eagle-eyed Ed Heads have their eye on a different venue for some star spotting.
The unassuming singer songwriter is known for supporting his mates when they perform, often spotted casually enjoying a few pints at a gig.
Northern Irish trad band Beoga will open for Ed on the Irish tour, but before they embark on that, they play Cyprus Avenue tonight at 8pm.

Savvy Ed Sheeran fans will be in the audience hoping to catch the first glimpse of their idol in the crowd.
The Thinking Out Loud singer has previously been spotted in the Schull Harbour Hotel, where he dropped by for a breakfast fry-up, so West Cork fans should keep their eyes peeled in the coming days.
