Cork’s most Christmassy street is all aglow for 2021 (and it’s like a scene from a Christmas card)

This will give you the warm and fuzzies.
The residents of one of Cork’s oldest neighbourhoods have joined forces once again this year to turn their tiny street into a Christmas wonderland for the festive season.
The homeowners of Needham Place, two tight rows of homes near Red Abbey Tower in South Parish, just off Douglas Street, hit the headlines last year when they festooned their houses in twinkling lights and Christmas trees to bring some cheer to locals.
Residents young and old got together to support each other during the long days in lockdown by coming up with a plan to make their street sparkle once the dark evenings set in.
Now the cul-de-sac, just around the corner from the South Chapel on Dunbar Street, has been lit up once again for Christmas 2021.
