It’s official; a Cork couple are the owners of Ireland’s Most Christmassy Home

Santa won’t miss it, that’s for sure.
And now the Drimoleague house of Sean and Noreen Mc Sweeney has hit the headlines again, scooping the grand prize in Energia’s search for Ireland’s Most Christmassy Home.
The couple has been announced as the overall winners in the national competition, winning €6,000 for their chosen charity, the Bantry Hospice Project.
The Cork display came out tops with Tony Fitzpatrick from Drinagh, County Wexford finished runner up and Christina and Philip Walker from Tinryland, County Carlow finished third.
“This year, we saw particularly impressive entries across the country, with such a high level of effort, creativity, and festive spirit, all in the name of supporting worthy causes,” said Geoff Codd, Head of Energia Marketing and Retail Development.
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to make donations on behalf of the winners to the Bantry Hospice Project, Wexford Hospice Project, and Make-A-Wish who each play vital roles in our communities throughout the country.”
