Food deliveries were a much-needed joy during the lockdown.

Now that things are slowly returning to normal, however, they’re also the occasional treat we’re refusing to give up.

1. WEST CORK BURGER

If you live within a six-mile radius of the West Cork Burger restaurant on Washington Street, they’ll drop all the fresh ingredients for a burger feast to your house and provide you with detailed instructions on exactly how to prepare the burgers just like they do.

The West Cork Burger box contains eight of their succulent 6oz Angus Beef Burgers with brioche buns, House Burger Sauce, streaky bacon, American and Irish cheese slices and the all-important gherkins for crunch.

2. BUJO

This Dublin burger joint has been dropping off BuJo Burger & S’mores Kits to hungry customers in the capital for a while, but now they’ve extended the service to the Real Capital.

The Beyond White Mausu and S’more Kit includes two Beyond Meat plant-based burgers, two double and two single meaty BuJo burgers and a jar of White Mausu Black Bean Rãyu alongside brioche buns, housemade BuJo Burger sauce, cheddar cheese and whole dill pickles in vinegar. You also get chocolate cookies, six giant vanilla marshmallows and milk chocolate buttons as well as bamboo skewers so you can make S’mores for dessert.

Voted the best burger in Dublin in the Dublin Burger Championships 2020, now you can get your chops around a Featherblade burger here on Leeside.

The Dawson Street steakhouse is now delivering its new Real Bacon and Cheeseburger Boxes nationwide, complete with six burgers, Applewood Smoked Sweet Bacon, brioche buns, sauces, aged cheddar and pickled red onion.

And lads, take it from us; the bacon is an experience in itself. You won’t need sides.
