Now there’s a stylish way to ensure your 12 Pubs of Christmas crew stays together for the duration of this year’s festive drinking challenge – make sure everyone has a handy illustrated guide.
Local artist Lucia Moreno Montero has compiled some of her best loved Cork pub illustrations into a ’12 Pubs, Cork Edition’ guide.
The booklets will be on sale (€3 each) alongside the artist’s beautiful prints and Christmas cards this weekend at the Triskel Christmas Market, which runs tonight Friday, November 29th, 2019 (6pm-9pm) and Saturday, November 30th (2pm-5pm).

Kicking off up at Mr Bradley’s and Tom Barry’s on Barrack Street and winding down through town with stop-offs at The Roundy and BDSM before crossing the bridge to the Fran Well and The Friary, the tour takes in some of Cork’s best bars.
The booklet also features a handy list of rules, such as ‘Be nice to staff, tip them, make their night easier, don’t be ‘that’ person’, which is a timely reminder to mind your manners as you drink yourself into oblivion en route.
Even if you’re not attempting the 12 Pubs this year, the 12 Pubs Cork Edition Guide would make a lovely gift for a mate living abroad (or a misty-eyed reminder of your wilder days).
