Yoga on the Boardwalk is back (and you can get your OM on this weekend)

The gym? Boring.
As soon as the weather starts to improve, we’re getting taking our light-starved bodies outdoors for some Vitamin D and getting our fitness fix al fresco – starting this weekend.
Located beside Earth Café on South Mall, Yoga on the Boardwalk will offer various styles of yoga each Sunday from local Cork teachers, all in aid of various charities.
Classes take place at 11am on Sunday mornings, with the first class of the year happening this weekend on Sunday, May 12th, taught by Audrey Ellard Walsh from Yoga with Audrey in aid of Edel House.
This is the second year of Yoga on the Boardwalk, with last year’s pilot programme raising almost €2000 for a range of local charities including Cork DAWG, Cork Penny Dinners and The Hope Foundation.
Organisers suggest a donation of €5 per person, and each participant who purchases a tea or coffee in Earth after the class will receive a freshly baked vegan scone for free.
Classes are weather dependent, so keep an eye on social media for weekly confirmation and details of each week’s chosen charity and teacher.
Bring your own mat and be sure to pop sunglasses, sunscreen and water in your bag too.
