Doing No Meat May? This market has everything you need for the fridge

It’s a 31 day, no meat challenge.
No Meat May has begun, with participants eliminating meat from their diets for a month for big reasons: ‘health, environment, animals, and food security’.
If you’ve started a veggie adventure of your own, there’s a foodie event you should know about.
The PositiVe Market: Meat Free May event takes place on Sunday, May 19th from 11am to 4pm, with a host of local stallholders selling everything you need to stock your fridge and cupboards for the week ahead.
Bring a reusable bag or two and hit The Kino on Washington Street on the day to stock up on plant-based goodies such as burgers and brownies by The Little Chickpea Company.
There’ll be traditional Italian risottos, pasta dishes and garlic bread from Mauro’S Italian Street Food Gluten Free & Vegan and cripsy tofu, spicy tempeh, noodles and salads from SensAsian Food.
Little Blue Frog Chocolates will be there too with a fresh batch of homemade chocolates and pastries, while Healthy Made Delicious will be piled high with creamy cakes and Lion.L Raw Kitchen will be dishing out sweet waffles.

Don’t leave without a bottle of fresh apple juice from Future Orchard Cork and skin treats from Suds Johnson and Aroma Bliss Handmade Aromatherapy Skincare.
Newcomers Hello Vegans, who make Polish vegan traditional zapiekanka and pizza, will also be in the house, along with Badger & Dodo Coffee to fuel your shopping trip.
Grab some food and nab a seat to unwind or sit in the sun.
No Meat May is now a global campaign, with surveys suggesting 94% of people reduce or eliminate meat permanently after participating.
