It’s one the most Christmassy locations in Cork.
And if you haven’t experienced Nano Nagle Place yet, Christmas Eve is the perfect time to visit with as many friends and family members as you can round up.
This December 24th, 2019 from 11am – 1pm, the historic visitors centre will once again revive a centuries old tradition by offering a warm mug of soup to the people of Cork in return for a voluntary donation to Cork Simon Community.
You can enjoy your soup, kindly provided by Good Day Deli, or a cup of warm mulled apple while exploring the beautiful grounds and gardens, Nano’s tomb and the Sisters Graveyard.
Meanwhile, the SHEP Community Choir make the atmosphere even more festive with a selection of Christmas carols.
It’s the perfect pit stop before you hit town for a Christmas Eve stroll and you might even pick up a last minute gift or two in Nano Nagle’s lovely eclectic design shop.
