Veggies rejoice! Here’s the menu for Iyer’s first ever ‘click and collect’ menu

It’s been a tricky few weeks for Cork’s chefs.
Now, with light at the end of the tunnel at last, things are beginning to look up and many of the smaller eateries we’ve all come to know and love throughout the city are taking their first tentative steps into the new normal.
Gautham Iyer, owner of Pope’s Quay spot Iyer’s, famous for its delicious southern Indian vegetarian street food, is the next brave chef to make a long-awaited comeback. Fans will be delighted to hear he’s kicking off this weekend with a ‘click and collect’ menu available on Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th.
There’s a brilliant meal deal with rice, sambar (a lentil soup), rasam curry, porial (a cabbage and pea curry), kootu (a delicious South Indian vegetable side) and all the extras, including kurd, pappadams and pickle for €15 per person. You can bump it up to serve two people (or enjoy it yourself for two days) for €25.
Here’s the full click and collect menu:
Call Iyers on 087 640 90 76 between 1pm and 5.30pm on Thursday, May 14th to place your order for collection, then simply swing by between 1pm and 7pm to take your goodies home this weekend.
