The St Luke’s Inn is holding its first St Luke’s Book Club on Thursday, September 19th, 2019.

The cosy pub, on the Ballyhooly Road at St Luke’s Cross, is asking local book lovers to suggest a title for the first meet-up (you can make a suggestion on their Instagram feed here).

You can enjoy a pint or a soft drink, chat through the finer points of each chapter and go home with a new take on every book before diving into the next one.

They say: “We’re hoping to explore all different types of literature, drama, thriller, romance, classic, historical and meet on the third Thursday of every month.”
