This restaurant is serving an insane 11-pancake menu ALL WEEK LONG

They even have Pancakes Benedict.
The Spitjack restaurant on Cork’s Washington Street is pulling out all the stops for Pancake Tuesday.
In fact, they’ve turned the annual floury fried feast into a week-long party, serving no less than eleven different varieties of pancake for breakfast, lunch and even dinner.
Traditionalists can dig into a plate of pancakes sprinkled with lemon and dusted in sugar, but if you’re interested in pushing the boat out, make sure you wear your stretchy pants.
Sweet-toothed customers can order The Snickers (€11), a stack of pancakes layered with peanut butter, milk chocolate, caramel sauce, and chantilly cream, or the Thank Crunchie it’s Friday; honeycomb, toffee sauce, and chocolate ganache.

The Apple & Rhubarb Crumble Pancake comes stuffed with caramelised apple and rhubarb compote, oat crumble, whiskey, and white chocolate custard, while cheesecake enthusiasts can have their pancakes filled with zesty lemon curd, lemon mascarpone, and biscuit crumb.
Savoury options include Buffalo Chicken (yep; rotisserie chicken, Spitjack hot sauce, a fried egg, coriander, sour cream and spring onion on a pancake) The Benedict (€13) with streaky bacon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce and Pancakes Royale, a fancy feast of asparagus, smoked salmon, smoked paprika, chive hollandaise and poachies.
The pancake menu will be available at The Spitjack from now until March 4th, 2022 in case you’re craving a second visit.
