Pancake Tuesday: 8 Cork crepe menus ready to make your flipping day

By Yay Cork February 16, 2026February 16, 2026

Are you a sugar/lemon or Biscoff person?

Mark your calendars for February 17th folks, because it’s time to put away the frying pan and let the pros handle the batter on Pancake Tuesday.

We’ve rounded up the top spots in Cork City where you can indulge in the best pancakes, whether you’re craving crêpe-style delights or fluffy American stacks.

Old Town Whiskey Bar

Where: Cornmarket Street, Cork City

Dig into Pancake Tuesday at the Bodega with an all-day pancake specials menu. From classic lemon and sugar to fluffy American-style with bacon and maple, they’ve got sweet stacks like Nutella banana, berry cream dreams, and savoury indulgence.

Available all day.

The Spitjack

The Spitjack restaurant on Cork’s Washington Street is pulling out all the stops for Pancake Tuesday.

In fact, they’ve turned the annual floury fried feast into a week-long party, serving no less than eleven different varieties of pancake for breakfast, lunch and even dinner.

Traditionalists can dig into a plate of pancakes sprinkled with lemon and dusted in sugar, but if you’re interested in pushing the boat out, make sure you wear your stretchy pants.
