This is the top Deliveroo meal in Cork (and it might surprise you)

A cheeky takeaway is the naughty weekend treat most of us succumb to on the regular.
But if you stick to the trusty local Chinese or pizza place, some new research by Deliveroo on Cork’s most lusted-after meal might surprise you.
To celebrate its third birthday Deliveroo has revealed the most popular dishes being bicycled to customers all over Ireland.
The dish Cork folk order most regularly? The uber healthy and nutritious Palestinian Falafel from Umi Falafel on Academy Street.
The €6.50 sandwich is made with Palestinian bread; a hefty pocket full of hummus, tomato, cucumber pickles, fried aubergine, flat parsley and chilli and tahini sauce.
Here are the five most popular dishes being ordered across the country right now:
- Chicken Burrito from Boojum (Dublin)
- Pineapple Fried Rice from Aroi (Limerick)
- Bacon Cheeseburger from The Chili Shack (Galway)
- California Roll 6 Piece from Eatokyo (Dublin)
- Palestinian Falafel from Umi Falafel (Cork)
To celebrate its third birthday Deliveroo has partnered with Boojum to give away three months worth of free food to lucky customers across Ireland.
Twelve celebratory giveaway cards will be placed in mystery orders and lucky customers just need to post a selfie on Twitter with the card and tag Deliveroo in the tweet.
