This five-mile night run starts at the Marina Market (and it’s for a great cause)

Are your New Year fitness resolutions starting to wobble a little?
If so, then Run the Night could be just the motivation you need to keep them on track.
Taking place on February 11th, the five-mile night run through Cork city is all about bringing people together through running, community spirit and a good cause.
Designed to be inclusive and welcoming, the event is open to runners of all abilities — whether you’re chasing a personal best or just happy to keep moving and enjoy the atmosphere. The race begins at 8pm at the Marina Market and running under the lights gives it a different feel too, turning an ordinary training run into something a bit more memorable.

What really sets Run the Night apart is the reason behind it. Every step taken helps support local causes, including the Gardaí’s Little Blue Heroes Foundation, which works with children and families going through difficult times.
With January routines starting to fade and dark evenings still very much a thing, Run the Night offers a simple way to stay motivated, get out the door and feel good about it.
You can register for Run the Night for €30 per person over here.
