Summer is here to stay: Here’s your June Bank Holiday weather

You can finally pack away your woolly jumper for once and for all.
With the first weekend in June upon us, there’s plenty more sunshine on the way, even if it is interrupted by a few small showers.
Met Éireann is forecasting temperatures of up to 21C in Cork today, Thursday.
Friday will begin cloudy and humid with temperatures of 15C and some light rain, but it’s back to sizzling sunshine by Saturday, with highs of 20C predicted.
If you’re running the Cork City Marathon on Sunday, hydration and sunscreen will be key; the mercury is set to rise to about 20C with clear skies.
Bank holiday Monday is the ideal time to break out the barbecue – temperatures will hit 23C and remain high until at least Wednesday.
Looks like we’re getting a real summer after all.
